You say you’re fine — to colleagues, to friends, to yourself. It’s a polite reflex that keeps things light. On the outside you’re holding it together — you’ve got a job and an electric toothbrush — but inside, you’re restless, unsure.

Life is confusing, exhausting and nothing like the timeline you were promised. Careers wobble, friendships drift, family roles change, your back hurts, and questions about purpose, politics and the planet weigh heavy every day.

Through this Substack, I want you to know that I get it. Warm, fun and deeply human, this is a conversation, not a lecture. It’s a meditation on the messiness of modern adulthood. It’s an invitation to pause, reject comparison and to practise radical contentment.

This Substack won’t fix everything. But every Sunday evening, around the time you probably start dreading the week to come, a mix of stories and ideas will hopefully help you feel seen, supported and ready to keep going.
